Hey! I'm 12 years old and although I still feel discouraged about tstarting ballet soo late, I'm going for it because it's my passion. Anyways, I wanted to know, when did you get en pointe? Since you started at my age basically. Thank you!

Pointe is usually started after 2-5 years of training, although it depends on your technique and strentgh. Good luck!

im 15 turning 16 and i really want to start ballet i have done ballet in the past as i 3and 4 year old. i have done tap, jazz ballet and currently just do regular jazz do you think its to late for me?
ReplyDeleteim desperate i have been whatchin you tube videos on ballet and learning. but i dont want to be really behind in the class.
Since you have done so many other types of dances, ballet will definitely be "easier". There is nothing stopping you to start ballet, so go for it! I personally started ballet late and I improved so much by watching videos (I recommend searching "Ballet Insight Glossary) and reading (Steps in Ballet by Thalia Mara). Good luck!
